Day-1 checklist
02 · Capture the papers with your phone camera
Photograph one page, then type the filename below.
Open Camera. One page per shot, straight-on: demand, ledger, envelope, citation or sale notice. If the sender is a lender, servicer, reverse-mortgage company, or tax-lien holder — not a property owners’ association — answer “Who is foreclosing?” in Fight Coach before you use the association prompts below. Snap triage labels the document type and saves the photo to this property’s case file on this phone. It does not read the page.
Sample prompt
Day-1 ChatGPT prompt. Paste it into your own ChatGPT.
Educational self-help only. You are not my lawyer. Do not claim you filed anything. Do not promise a hearing is canceled or that foreclosure stops. I am a homeowner on Day 1. I photographed HOA / court papers on my iPhone. Filenames in my Drive: [type filenames in Fight Coach]. Give me: 1) A checklist of what you can and cannot see from the photo I attach next. 2) A split table if the paper shows numbers: assessments | late/finance | attorney/collection | other. Do not invent amounts. 3) An outline with blanks for caption, court, and cause number — not a finished pleading. Remind me: I review. I or a licensed attorney file. Fight Coach and ChatGPT do not file or appear.
Deadline tracker
Rule 736 has specific procedures and deadlines that may matter if your papers actually identify a Rule 736 case. This sample tracker does not calculate them; have a Texas lawyer check your papers promptly.
In the paid kit, you can enter dates shown on your papers. This read-only preview does not accept dates or calculate legal deadlines.
This product is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.
